IP OFfice 8.1 Basic Edition SSL VPN out of service
SSL VPN tunnel would not establish on IP Office 8.1 Basic Edition

IP office 8.1 units are showing an error for the SSL the on boarding creates.

 

Problem Clarification

SSA showing Error: SSL VPN out of service due to failure to resolve server FQDN. Service Name: AVAYA_SUPPORT

Cause

DNS was not set.

Solution

For IP Office Basic Edition, DNS is enabled under the Web Control TAB.

1. http://<IP Address of IP Office>

2. Login : Administrator Password: password

3. Click on system and then DNS settings.

4. Enter the DNS IP Address and click "ok" and save.

5. NO reboot is needed and the Tunnel establish it's self.
