In some IPO environments (release/configuration/etc.) 1403 DCP phones cannot upgrade.

Problem Clarification

The phone stuck forever displaying 17K of firmware. Note that 1403R7.bin firmware is 178+K.

Unplugging and plugging back may/may not solve the issue.

Phones whoever can be upgraded without any issues using Avaya Service Adapter.

Cause

When fully investigated the issue it was found that it is IPO bug to be addressed in JIRA IPOFFICE-54841 MR.

Solution

Please refer to the MR to find when a fix will be/is available.
