Cause

working as designed. As long as the announcement is in use the announcement will not be able to update until its idle. This was also confirmed in the Lab. Also if there are 8 announcements being updated at the same time and one is active all will fail.

Solution

1) Work around is to disable the announcement board in the Media Gateway, update the announcement and then enable the announcement board which will be service impacting to anyone currently listening to the announcement.

Also can remove the annoucement board from the audio group change the announcment and then add back to audio group.

2) Another way around is  to record the voice prompt thru telephone.
