Problem Clarification

Customer was unable to access web pages via the Technician port, located on eht1 of dom0.  Port forwarding was disabled on dom0

Cause

Port forwarding was disabled on dom0

Solution

1. To enable IP forwarding:

a. Start an SSH session.

b. Log in to System Domain (Domain-0) as admin.

c. In the command line, type service_port_access enable and press Enter.

 

2. For security reasons, always disable IP forwarding after finishing your task. Perform

the following tasks to disable IP forwarding:

a. Start an SSH session.

b. Log in to System Domain (Domain-0) as admin.

c. In the command line, type ip_forwarding disable and press Enter.
