Problem Clarification

 

Client is downloading WinSPM for Windows 7. After installing the .exe file, client encountered error.

Error Message: Exception EOleSysError in module WinSPM

Cause

 

This is caused by compatibility of Merlin Legend WinSPM installer for Windows 7 platform since majority of Windows 7 machines are 64-bit.

Solution

 

Right-click on the file and run shortcut as administrator:
A prompt will display asking if you want to allow the exe file to make changes on the computer, click on Yes.
The program should run without any errors.
