There are three documents to upgrade the system from R16 CMS release to R16.3 CMS release based on the requirement :-
1. Database Upgrade and Data Migration : The Avaya Call Management System (CMS) database upgrade and migration is designed for upgrading and migrating Avaya CMS Release 16 (R16) database changes to Avaya CMS Release 16.3 (R16.3). It is used only when the data needs to be migrated and no changes to the hardware is required.

3. CUE upgrade : Avaya Call Management System Upgrade Express (CUE) for Sun Computers will only be shipped with 300-GB disks. Avaya Call Management System Upgrade Express (CUE) for Sun Computers is written for technicians who are upgrading a Sun workstation (computer) from R15 to CMS R16.3. However, upgrades from CMS R16, R16.1 and R16.2 to R16.3 are also supported for customers that want to move to the 300-GB disks from 146-GB disks to take advantage of the LAN backup features introduced from R16.2 onwards.
