CM: PMS application not updating stations and CDR link down

This applies to any release Communication Manager.

PMS application is non-Avaya.

 CDR to PMS system also down

 

Problem Clarification

PMS interface not updating phones when new customers check into rooms. Status and name won't change.

Status pms-link shows "Data Base Swapping?"  was "yes".

 Status cdr-link shows as link down

Both PMS and CDR are on same CLAN and are connected to IOLAN box as interface

Cause

Errors on the CLAN board. CLAN board displaying no board.

Solution

Solution 1.

Busy and release the PMS-link and Primary CDR link

Verify Link comes back up.

Reboot IOLAN device to restore link connectivity

Replace defective CLAN board.
