Problem Clarification

On Communication Manager version 6.x on - System-parameters features (Page 12), there is no option for CMS R18 when attempting to set CMS R18 as the CMS release connected to the CM 6.x

Working as designed.

Solution

CMS R18 is supported on CM 6.x. Although there are new features in CMS that require CM 7.0. In order to administer CMS R18 on CM 6.x, you may choose “R16.1/R16.x/R17.0” as the CMS version.

The option for CMS R18 is visible on CM version 7.0 and above.
