Problem Clarification

SIP Calls into CM fail with the rejection message "488 Not Acceptable Here" (SDP Fault)

The call flow is as follows:

Pexip Conference Server -> Cisco VCS -> Session Manager 6.3 -> CM 6.3

If the call originates from the Cisco stations the call is succesful but when originated on the Pexip server the call fails with 488 Not Acceptable Here (SDP Fault) from the CM.

Cause

CM software issue detailed in CM-8136.

Solution

Fix is delivered to CM6.3 SP13 or higher. Please refer to PSN1798S
