Avaya Equinox 3.0

Error message upon autostart of Equinox client, which tries to access Outlook contacts.

Outlook error keeps on popping up after various changes.

Customer may describe the issue as: MS Outlook error message while Equinox integration is enabled.

Problem Clarification

The customer anti-virus has a bit longer to start running after a windows-pc start-up while Equinox starts quicker than the anti-virus and tries to access Outlook contacts and calendar. Outlook starts and checks for valid Anti-virus status (which is not valid yet, since not running yet).

Since the "Avaya Outlook Plugin" is not signed, Outlook doesn't trust it and shows a pop-up that you need to give access to it.

Customer asks for the plugin to be signed because in this way the pop-up wouldn't appear.

Cause

Signing issue with Outlook plug-in

Solution

Outlook signed plugin is available starting from Equinox Client v3.2
