Details

After upgrading CMS supervidor to R18, Excel macros cannot be integrated any more.
-Microsoft Excel 2016 with CMS Supervisor R18(MA48)

Problem Clarification

Macros from Excel worked fine with CMS Supervisor R16.3. After upgrading to R18, they got an compilation error.

“ Compilation Error. It is impossible to find the project or the library”
 
Also there can be formatting issues when importing CSV files from Supervisor to Excel

Cause

Incompatibility between CMS Sup R18 and Excel 2016.

Solution

Customer must perform one of the following options as a workarround:

 

 
  1. Downgrade CMS Supervisor to R16.3;
  2. Upgrade to CMS Supervisor R18.1 MB.07 - this contains fixes for Excel compatibility.
  3. Downgrade Microsoft Excel to version 2013.
  4. Try to get the Excel Spreadsheet compatible to Excel 2016 as the link below:
