Problem Clarification

AAWG cannot accept the password of AD user in customer's system, got LDAP error code 49 .

-- Tried the LDAP password KvR$vp=Wu7/@  in my LAB , I can duplicate this issue:

Looks like this AAWG server did not like this password , we got LDAP error code 49 which indicates the password could be incorrect.

Also 3 words ‘$vp’ were missing in the logs :

-- If I try Avaya123, then it could be passed succesfully .

Cause

We have tested this on our lab and these are unsupported characters for AAWG LDAP password:

$ " ' ` ( )

Solution

$ " ' ` ( ) . They are going to be supported in next release of AAWG / AMM / AADS . (Post AAWG 3.3 / AMM 3.3 / AADS 7.1.2)
