Problem Clarification

Issue: "Caller ID said it was me calling!  Recorded message said it was AT&T and that my account had been flagged for security purposes, and to enter the last 4 digits of the primary account holders social security number".

Cause

Unknown.

Solution

I did some research on this recorded message – " Caller ID said it was me calling!  Recorded message said it was AT&T and that my account has been flagged for security purposes, and to enter the last 4 digits of the primary account holders social security number " and looks like lot of users experienced this problem as per the AT&T community forums in states.

This does not look like an Avaya issue to me after reading all the forums. The issue is spread across the united states, especially a lot in NY.
