Problem Clarification

Nuance Speech recognition high failure rate.

Speech recognition does not seem to be nearly as accurate as it should be. Changing the confidence level in either the app or the EPMS seems to have no effect.

Cause

Nuance old Grammar algorithim for calculating confidences

Solution

Customer needs to upgrade their NSS version into highest.

They can install the patch 9.0.21 to improve the confidence threshold.

Nuance changed their algorithm for calculating confidences in newest versions.
