Installation of the Avaya IR system involves the following basic steps:
Includes on-site setup of the hardware components usually performed by an Avaya technician
Includes the steps necessary when the hardware components have been set up and the system is booted up for the first time on site.
Includes installing the system and Avaya IR base software components onto the hardware platform. Nearly all of the software is preinstalled when your system arrives. However, software installation may be required when you have a system failure that requires you to rebuild the system from the CDs or from backup.
If you have a recent full backup of your system, you can restore all of the system software, applications, and data, without having to re-install software and reconfigure the system.
Includes bringing voice response applications and data from previous versions of the Avaya IR system (such as CONVERSANT Version 8). |
