System Recovery (Hard Disk Crash)

If the S8300 has a hard disk failure, you must replace the S8300 Media Server, which is shipped with a new hard drive. The hard drive will have S8300 and IA 770 INTUITY AUDIX software already loaded on it. However, you may need to update the software as part of the recovery process.

Note: If the customer was showing an alarm for the CWY1 board prior to the disk crash, you need to order a replacement CWY1 board. Otherwise, reuse the CWY1 board attached to the old S8300.
