Bring the System Online

Set System Maintenance Parameters

Return to Task List

  1. Type change system-parameters maintenance and press Enter. Verify the screen displayed is similar to Typical Display System-Parameters Maintenance Screen. The screen shows default values and the cursor is positioned on Product Identification: line.


Caution! To prevent unnecessary trouble tickets, do not enable the system alarms (Alarm Origination feature) until all installation and administration procedures are completed.

  1. Move the cursor by pressing Tab to move down the screen from field to field and enter y in the Packet Bus Activated? field to indicate a TN794 circuit pack is installed. This is the only field needing change on this screen to turn the red LEDs off.

  2. Press Enter when the information is correct.
