Connecting a Port Carrier to a Switch Node Carrier (TN1654 DS1 Converter)

  1. When the TN1654 circuit pack is in a port carrier and the TN 573B SNI circuit pack is in the Switch Node Carrier, connect the two circuit packs with a 70-in. (178 cm) Y Cable.


Caution! The Y cable used with the TN1654 circuit pack is different than the Y cable used with the TN574 circuit pack. These cables are NOT interchangeable.

  1. Connect an H600-348 Quad cable to the other side of the Y cable.
