An 16-Mbyte translation card is required for a system with recorded announcements or if a DEFINITY Wireless Business System is installed.

Also verify that you have:

Generic program card with the current software release running in the system

Original translation card on which the system translations are to be saved

Software patch (if it exists) that is currently applied to the system (download this patch if a software backout is necessary)

New translation card provided via upgrade PEC

Note:

The TN799/B/C (C-LAN) circuit pack is optional for packet bus support and Distributed Communications System (DCS).
