Return the system equipment replaced during the upgrade to R9 to Avaya according to:


BCS/Material Logistics MSL/Attended Stocking Locations
Methods and Procedures for Basic Material Returns

In general, return old equipment and crash kits to the MSL, and return ordered but unused equipment to the Denver factory.

If you are returning heavy equipment such as a cabinet, the project manager should arrange for Avaya personnel to pick up the equipment.

Tag the returned equipment appropriately.

Note:

Retain the old translation card for up to 10 business days to verify that the customer is satisfied and that there is no need to reverse the upgrade. Return the old translation card to Avaya. (Reversing the upgrade also means reinstalling the old TN798/B processor circuit pack.)
