Categories of features
There are three categories of features:
- Base features are part of the standard software packages you receive when you purchase the base system. Examples of base features include Web Administration, alarm administration, and the service creation environment.
- Licensed features use WebLM licensing. WebLM has been introduced in R2.0. Examples of licensed features include Digital interface ports and VoIP, NLSR, Proxy Text-to-Speech, and SNMP. For more information, see WebLM licensing.
- Optional features can be purchased separately. Examples of optional features include Adjunct/Switch Application Interface (ASAI), VoiceXML, and computer telephony integration (CTI) data integration process (DIP).
