While a Personal Directory on a 4424LD+ or MLX-20L telephone is being programmed, calls cannot be received; the caller hears a busy signal.
Personal Speed Dial is not related to the Personal Directory. See Speed Dial for additional information about Personal Speed Dial.
When a 4400-Series or MLX telephone other than a 4424LD+ or MLX-20L telephone is plugged into a port that has a Personal Directory resource allocated, the Personal Directory resource is released and can be programmed to be used by another user. (Up to 48 Personal Directories can exist on a system.)
