MAS drive cage cabling

The location of the primary IDE connector changes depending on the type of motherboard that is installed:

Nonintegrated video and LAN model

1 Disk drive and DVD player power connectors
2 80-pin IDE ribbon cable to the DVD and hard drive (hda), and the primary IDE (PRI IDE) connector on the motherboard

 

Integrated video and LAN

1 Disk drive and DVD player power connectors
2 80-pin IDE ribbon cable to the DVD and hard drive (hda), and the primary IDE (PRI IDE) connector on the motherboard
