Configuring Custom Access Types

Overview

Custom access types make it possible for you to create a user profile that has specific functional privileges. The functional privileges that you can assign a user profile are:

• System configuration
• Module and port management
• Events management
• L2 switching
• Routing

After creating one or more custom access types (user profiles), you can create a user account and assign a custom access type to that account. The user is then able to manage the switch based on the custom access type that was assigned to his or her user account.

The switch supports a maximum of 30 custom access types.
