Installing the Avaya G700 Media Gateway��

An Avaya G700 Media Gateway or an Avaya G700 Media Gateway with an S8300 Media Server configured as a Local Spare Processor (LSP) may be added to either a S8700 Multi-Connect or IP Connect configuration. To add a G700 Media Gateway, you must have a TN799DP C-LAN circuit pack installed in the MCC1, SCC1, or G600 Media Gateway. The G700 is an endpoint on the C-LAN circuit pack. The general process for adding an Avaya G700 Media Gateway to an existing Avaya MCC1, SCC1, or G600 Media Gateway follows:
