You can use this screen to view the cabinet number and carrier ID for each Internet Protocol Server Interface (IPSI) in your system. In addition, you can view the version of firmware currently running for each IPSI. For example, if you are downloading firmware or activating a firmware download, you might get an error message stating that you have specified an invalid IPSI. You can use this screen to find out the cabinet number and carrier ID for the IPSI and then try the download or activation procedure again.
To view information about the IPSIs you currently have in your system:
On the main menu under IPSI Firmware Upgrades, click View IPSI Version.
On the View IPSI Version screen, select which IPSI you want to view by clicking the corresponding radio button:
Query All. Select this option to view information for all IPSI boards currently in your system, regardless of the cabinet number or carrier.
Query IPSI in cabinet number __ carrier __. Select this option to view information for a specific IPSI board. You must enter the IPSI cabinet number and select the carrier to specify the IPSI.
Click View IPSI Version.
The system displays IPSI board information, which includes the board code, hardware version, and application firmware version. The information displays for either all IPSIs in your system or a specific IPSI, based on what you selected in step 2. See View IPSI Version results for details.
