    Caller ID in coverage answer groups

    I have a department that has a coverage answer group.
    When calls go to the group it shows the incoming caller ID (phone number of the caller) to GroupName.
    They would find it helpful to have the incoming caller ID show the name of the caller (if available) and not the phone number.
    (Smith, Bob to Finance not 111-222-3333 to Finance)

    I have not been able to find a setting to change this either for the individual answer group or the company as a whole.

    Any experience with this would be much appreciated.

    Hi,
    Are you seeing the same display across all types of phones. There was some known issue on 96X1 SIP phones with respect to the display when call comes to the coverage answer group. This was fixed in 6.4.1. Also check if "Display Client Redirection" is enabled in station form.

      yes same across all phone types. I tried the client redirect...check box to no avail
