Blue to Red migration: license pooling

First post, not sure this is the right place - mods/admins please move this if needed.

In a CS1K to CM migration scenario, customer wants to retain the license pooling feature in CS1K where multiple CS1Ks can use lics out of a common pool. Lics can easily be moved from one CS1K to another by releasing them into the pool from one CS1K instance and consuming them in another CS1K instance.
How would this be accomplished in a CM environ? PLDS would need to be updated with any changes, so in an emergency case where customer has to move seats between 2 CM what would be required? Common WebLM? Control Manager? PLDS? Total number of lics does not change just which system they are assigned to.

Nothing I can find in migration docs addresses this issue perhaps you can refer me to a relevant doc.

    Thanks.

Licenses are hosted on a co-resident or standalone WebLM server at the customer location. PLDS is the online tool for license management where licenses can be generated, re-hosted, and moved between license hosts for reinstallation on WebLM. The licenses are typically authenticated against the MAC address of the WebLM server. You'll need a sold-to or LAC number to find your licenses.

I don't think having two independent CM main switches use a common WebLM is supported, but someone may correct me on that.
