    AACC New Install and WebLM

    Folks

I'm installing a new 6.2 AACC. The docs reference both the .lic and the .xml license files. It is clear what to do with the .lic file - if you could get a .lic file. There are references as to how to set up the WebLM for licensing but then there is nothing that actually states this. There are port conflicts if I install the WebLM both before or after installing AACC. According to the PLDS folks, there is only the .xml license file for AACC. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Richard

Yes, when you create the license in PLDS, there is a special note to send an email to plds with the host ID. They will in turn, in about 10 days send to the proper .lic file. Though the documentation represents WebLM is an option, it is not at this time.

Hi richardowallot, can you please provide more information about aacc licensing? Is WebLM still not supported? If not, where exactly is that special note for sending email to plds?
        Thanks.

This is actually still using WebLM, which is automaticall installed on the CCT Tomcat Server (port 8443 I believe!)

When opening License Manager on SP4 (With the Rollup 50,51 etc patches) or the SP5 patches, it will indicate if your using a PLICD (.lic licenses) or WebLM (xml licenses)

                        Hi,
I have installed a new AACC 6.2 SP5 co-resident and successfully added WebLM license through configuration of Contact Center Licencing. Nevertheless, on Element Manager there is a critical alarm about licensing. Does anyone knows what is the licencing procedure for AMS?
