CMS R16.3 PE and ESS

Hi,


Is there any way to use Processor Ethernet to connect the CMS server running with R16.3 in a CM environment with ESS server? I like to replace the CLAN connection used in previous version by using PE, but I don’t see any possibility to administer the link from the CMS to the ESS server on the CMS server (only a single host possible). Are there any possibilities in the current or next versions?

Afternoon Ron,
The processor ethernet on the ESS can be administered from the 'change surv' form.
Not sure if it will actually achieve what you need unless you have HA or Survivable CMS. If it's HA that you want, then you will need a spare ACD on the secondary CMS and you are much better off getting Avaya PSO to install their HA scripts.
