    Alternate # of Rings While on Call

    Good evening everyone!

    I have a user who is requesting that we alter her team's phones so that while they are on a call, the phone will only ring a couple of times before forwarding the call to voicemail.

    I'm very new to Avaya and looked around but didn't see any option for having the phone forward to voicemail after an alternate amount of rings depending on conditions. Is there any way this can be accomplished?

    Please let me know if I should be providing more info! Thanks!

    This should be in coverage-path

    do a display station and make a note of coverage path number

    now, run display coverage patch <number>, that should tell you what is configured

      Yes this give me an option to change the number of rings before voicemail kicks in but I'm trying to find out if there's a way to have the number of rings conditional on whether or not the station is currently on a call.
