How to modify calling number for incoming calls on IP Office

    Hi Guys,

Is it possible to prefix 9 to the calling number (CLID) for any incoming call to IP Office 500V2 ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    KT

Yes, that's normally done through the line settings where you will find a Prefix field. Varies depending on the type of line, some have separate fields for Local, National and International prefixes.

Is the purpose so that you can return calls from the Call Log? Because there are some other ways to do it through User Shortcodes and ARS tables.

This may seem involved and convoluted, but I use it on every system that I install. It allows returning calls from the Call Log on the phone. Once I have it set up and working, I am able to cut and paste from configuration to another, so I created a "Base" config with a User Rights and an ARS table, then I just past them into any new system that I am working on .
