Third-Party CRM Integration with Avaya Workplace and IP Office

I'm currently working with a small business client using Avaya IP Office R11.1 along with Avaya Workplace softphones and One-X Portal for user management. We're exploring the possibility of integrating a third-party CRM system to enable click-to-dial functionality and possibly screen pop-ups when calls are received.

I’ve reviewed the DevConnect documentation and some basic info on the CTI/TSAPI options, but I’m still a bit unclear about the practical setup for these types of integrations, especially for smaller setups not using full-blown AES or Avaya CM.

Is there a supported or recommended method to enable third-party applications to control/monitor extensions via IP Office?

Interesting integration project! For smaller Avaya IP Office setups like yours, exploring TSAPI through DevConnect is key. Have you looked at any middleware solutions designed for simpler CTI integrations? This could bridge the gap without needing full AES.
