IP Office 500 v2, account code for restricting long distance call

Hi My company bought an avaya IP Office 500 v2 system and I was told to configure the IP Manager to restrict the long distance call with the Account Code feature. I had been told it can be set up through the short code and the 'Force the account code' feature. However, I have no idea of how to implement the account code to restrict the special user from making international call such as "0011xxxxxxxxxxx".

I am wondering if anybody had the similar experience for controlling this account code? thanks anyway.

If you want to restrict an special user you need to create the shortcode 0011xxxxxxxxxxx in the user's profile.

If you want to restrict a bunch of users, then you need to create a user's right group and then create the shortcode and then attached the users to the group.

PS: I prefer to use Authorization Codes rather than Account Codes.
