IP Office auto attendant busy number

I have IP Office 500 R5 with 2 analog extension card, PRI daughter card and VCM32 card.
When I try to configure auto attendant with local recording from the phone by dialing *8101, I get number busy so I couldn't record auto attendant message.

    How can this be resolved?

Check that the shortcode *81XX actually exists. While it is created automatically when the auto attendant is added it can be subsequently deleted.

Check all of your auto attendants and make sure you have an AA number 01.

I would suggest that you use *8401 instead of *8101 for the AA prompt.

If the short code didn't create itself automatically, it is *84XX / Auto Attendant / "AA:"N".4" / 0

I also like to customize my columns for the AA section to have "Greeting Short Code" in the first column, the AA's are in the order I created them, and I can see from a glance which recording to make.
