Subscriber login improvement |
Subscriber login improvement gives you the option to set the priority for incoming calls to 'Callers' or 'Subscribers'. You can set this option in the Subscriber tab of the Telephone User Interface node in the Voice Mail System Configuration (VMSC). If you set the priority to 'Callers', the Common Caller Interface (CCI) is the same as in the earlier releases. If you set the priority to 'Subscribers', the Modular Messaging system assumes that the call is coming from a subscriber. Therefore, the system does not place the subscriber into the Automated Attendant and prompts the subscriber for the subscriber's mailbox number. However, the subscriber can return to the Automated Attendant by pressing the star (*) key. Also, the number of times the subscribers have to press pound (#) key to log in to their mailbox, from a non-integrated phone, is reduced.
|
Set the Give incoming call priority to parameter of Telephone User Interface - Subscriber tab in VMSC to Subscribers. The other value for this parameter is Callers.
