Administration of Controlled LAN (C-LAN) integration consists of
the following steps:

for administering and configuring the messaging server for

Before proceeding with C-LAN administration, check for the following
requirements and prerequisites.
PBX hardware requirements |
- Analog ports, one per S3400 Message Server port
- C-LAN circuit pack (TN 799)
- A C-LAN board, which has been inserted in the switch

Prerequisites |
- IP address to be assigned to C-LAN
- Node name to be assigned to C-LAN
- TCP number of the port on the switch that is used to communicate
with the messaging server
- IP address of Messaging Application Server (MAS)
- Subnet masks for C-LAN segment and MAS segment
- Gateway IP address for C-LAN segment and MAS segment
