Microsoft SQL Server prerequisites

Message Care 4.5 requires that the Microsoft SQL Server software reside on the same NT server as the messaging software. See Prerequisites before installing Microsoft SQL Server.
Installation prerequisites
Ensure that you have met the following installation prerequisites prior to installing the Microsoft SQL Server software:

Disable caching I/O controllers unless you have an on-board battery backup.

You must choose a valid server name. The server name must not have spaces and must begin with an alphabetical letter or an underscore.

For the SQL Server to recognize network drives, ensure that your Domain User Account has read/write access to the network drives.
