Set date and time [R10si]

Return to Task List

1. Type set time and press Enter.



See Typical Date and Time Screen.

2. Enter the English name of the current day of the week.


3. Enter the English name of the current month.


4. Enter the day of the month and the year.


5. Enter the current time in 24-hour format.


6. At the Type: field, enter either daylight saving time or standard time, depending on the current time in your time zone.


7. If your area does not use daylight saving time, set the value of Daylight Savings Rule to 0; otherwise, set Daylight Savings Rule to 1.


8. Press Enter to set the date and time and ensure that the system boots properly.
