Note: Replace the circuit packs in the standby control carrier first.


Caution! Electrostatic discharge can severely damage sensitive electronic circuits. Before handling any electronic hardware, be sure to wear a grounding wrist strap or other static-dissipating device.

  1. Type status spe and press Enter to determine which control carrier is active, or observe the control carrier LEDs.

  2. Move the SPE-SELECT switches on both Duplication Interface (DUPINT) circuit packs, one at a time, to the active carrier.
