Tape Drive: Power Down the SPE [R9r]

Caution! Do not power down the whole cabinet; it is not necessary.


Note: If there are two power supplies, power down the SPE by removing the power plug on the right side of the carrier then by removing the power plug on the left side of the carrier. If there is only one power supply, remove the one power plug on the right side.

For standard reliability, power down the SPE. This causes a service interruption.

For high or critical reliability, power down the standby SPE.
