This topic provides information on connecting the Message Networking
system power cables. See S3210R and S3210 back views
and S3400-H back views if you need to locate
the power connections on the back of the servers.
To connect the power cables:
- Connect the female end of the server power cable to the male
power connector located on the back of the server.
- Connect the male end of the power cable to an AC receptacle
located on the back of the UPS.
- For S3400-H servers with vertically stacked type of redundant
power supply, repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the second S3400-H power
supply.
- Connect the UPS power cable into an appropriate AC power outlet.
- Continue with Connecting the analog port
boards.
