• Installing additional language software (if needed)
• Installing the switch connection software (required for analog systems)
• Checking the system status
• Configuring the modem/terminal
• Setting up network addressing
• Rebooting the system
• Performing initial system administration
• Performing acceptance tests
• Registering the Message Networking system

Note: If you intend to use the attended high-availability option supported by Message Networking for disaster recovery, you must install the secondary Message Networking system. See Attended high-availability option overview for information.
