MSS-H drive cage cabling

The location of the secondary IDE connector changes depending on the type of motherboard that is installed:

Nonintegrated video and LAN model

1 Disk drive power connectors
2 J7 10-pin SCSI drive activity indicator cable
3 J6 3-pin SCSI bay fan health indicator cable
4 80-pin IDE ribbon cable to the DVD drive and the secondary IDE connector (SEC IDE) on the motherboard
5 SCSI ribbon cable to the SCSI RAID controller board

 

Integrated video and LAN model

1 Disk drive power connectors
2 J7 10-pin SCSI drive activity indicator cable
3 J6 3-pin SCSI bay fan health indicator cable
4 80-pin IDE ribbon cable to the DVD drive and the secondary IDE connector (SEC IDE) on the motherboard
