Discuss with the customer whether they are willing to re-record announcements. Doing so can significantly reduce the time it takes to do the upgrade. Every
save announcements or
restore announcements command adds 45 minutes to the upgrade process.
For customers without a Lucent maintenance contract, the INADS database does not have a record of passwords. Discuss with the customer who is responsible for making their passwords available.
