Product Licensing and Delivery System (PLDS)

The PLDS application is used to create and manage software licenses and download files, download core software images and software updates provided by an active service agreement or warranty, and execute paid and pre-paid software upgrades. The PLDS application is available to authorized Business Partners, end-customers and Avaya Associates.

Refer to the PLDS site link below for a listing of products that have licenses managed in PLDS. All other Avaya product licenses are managed in RFA, unless otherwise noted.

Request access by selecting the "Role" that is associated with the type of access you need in the application.

  • To access your Avaya Access Profile, Login to SSO and select "Profile."
  • From your Profile Toolbox, select "View/Request Roles" > select a "Role" for the application(s) > click "Save."

The "PLDS User" role will automatically be added to your profile.

See Helpful Information for documentation on PLDS.

Avaya Associates can request PLDS access via ITSS.

Global License Portability (Avaya Products)

To be eligible for global moves, licenses must be at the latest available release as of the policy announcement date. Existing move polices will continue to apply for licenses that are not eligible for global portability. All other standard terms and conditions that govern the existing move policy will continue to apply (i.e., like-for-like release, like-for-like or better maintenance coverage, etc.).

Distributors and Channel Partners are obligated to inform Avaya of all license entitlement moves. Minimal license entitlement move details should include:

  • End-Customer name and Sold To number
  • "From" Distributor
  • "From" Channel Partner
  • "To" Distributor (if different)
  • "To" Channel Partner (if different)
  • Quantity and type of licenses moved
  • Support contract details on "To" and "From" location
  • Contact name/email for questions

These details should be e-mailed to the appropriate Avaya theatre contact, along with the supporting Distributor purchase authorization, to ensure the "To" location support contract reflects the addition of the moved licenses.

Tips for Searching Avaya Support

A good query consists of three things:

Enclose exact words or phrases in double quotes. Include plus (+) to require words, minus (--) to exclude words, and OR between words. i.e. forwarding OR coverage + "all calls"-- remote

Don't include "special" characters in your search (i.e. &, <, >, *, $, / ,\, ....)

The more exact the phrases are to the actual title or string of text in a document, the better the results
